Countdown To Event
ABOUT THE CONGRESS
The Malaysian Cardiovascular Interventional Symposium (MYLIVE) has been a highly anticipated annual conference on interventional cardiovascular medicine since 2004. This year, under the theme "Motivation and Innovation in Interventional Cardiology at the Heart of ASEAN" the conference will take place at the prestigious Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, with live transmission from the renowned Sultan Idris Shah Serdang Hospital from 11th to 13th September 2025.
MYLIVE, organized by the Interventional Cardiovascular Society of Malaysia (ICSM) and supported by the National Heart Association of Malaysia (NHAM), is a significant educational event in the region that aims to bring together cardiology professionals for networking, experience sharing, and exploring potential collaborations, research, and innovation. With a plethora of reliable randomized controlled studies and real-world evidence accessible in the cardiology field, cardiovascular professionals are equipped to provide optimal care to their patients.
The three-day conference will host a wide range of sessions such as case-sharing, treatment methodologies, and updates on specific areas including left main, bifurcation, chronic total occlusion, long and small vessels, calcified lesions, STEMI, structural, and peripheral intervention. A special pre-congress session in collaboration with the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (SCAI) will kick off the event. The main goal of the conference is to integrate the most current scientific evidence into daily practices.
The conference will also have a panel of experts who will analyze the top cases submitted and share their approaches to treatment based on their own clinical practices. Additional highlights of the event will feature various symposiums and teaching sessions with other interventional societies, as well as a dedicated symposium focusing on the use of intravascular imaging and its role in physiological assessments. It is a not-to-be-missed event for all cardiology professionals.
We look forward to seeing you at MYLIVE 2025!

On behalf of the National Heart Association of Malaysia, I welcome all of you to MYLIVE 2025, Malaysia’s largest interventional cardiology conference, bearing the theme – “Motivation and Innovation in Interventional Cardiology at the Heart of ASEAN” Coinciding with Malaysia’s turn this year to assume the Chair of ASEAN, MYLIVE 2025 addresses both themes of motivation and innovation here. Motivation to develop and expand the clinical services, particularly in the interventional cardiology; and the innovation, which is evident in this rapidly evolving arena. At MYLIVE 2025, we will explore technology and techniques, share skill and knowledge, on how to improve treatment strategies for our patients in this region. MYLIVE 2025 will be the main hub of these activities, for all stakeholders and the multidisciplinary teams required to advance this ecosystem – from clinicians, nurses, physiologists, allied health professionals; to scientists, IT professionals, engineers, and administrators – great interaction and networking, a hallmark of all our previous events. This year’s MYLIVE will see a return to the Hospital Sultan Idris Shah (HSIS), the largest tertiary cardiology centre of the Ministry of Health Malaysia, as the Live Transmission Site. With over 20 Live transmission cases, we have assembled a world class Faculty in the field of Interventional Cardiology, including over 50 experts from our ASEAN region and beyond. Also, we have strong representation from the Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Intervention (SCAI), from the United States. With nearly 700 million inhabitants, ASEAN is emerging as a powerhouse of ideas and clinical excellence, and MYLIVE 2025 stands as a unifying platform to share these advancements openly and meaningfully. Through regional and global collaboration, we aim to elevate practice, drive motivation, and spark new ideas that can transform care. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Interventional Cardiovascular Society of Malaysia (ICSM), Organising Chairman Dr Kamaraj Selvaraj, Scientific Chairman Dr Glendon Lau, and the dedicated team at Hospital Sultan Idris Shah Serdang for shaping this impactful event. We look forward to welcoming you to MYLIVE 2025 – for knowledge, collaboration, and inspiration at the heart of ASEAN! |
