ABOUT THE CONGRESS
The Malaysian Cardiovascular Interventional Symposium (MYLIVE) has been a highly anticipated annual conference on interventional cardiovascular medicine since 2004. This year, under the theme "Shaping Interventional Excellence" the conference will take place at the prestigious Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, with live transmission from the renowned Institut Jantung Negara (IJN) from 16th to 18th July 2026.
MYLIVE, organized by the Interventional Cardiovascular Society of Malaysia (ICSM) and supported by the National Heart Association of Malaysia (NHAM), is a significant educational event in the region that aims to bring together cardiology professionals for networking, experience sharing, and exploring potential collaborations, research, and innovation. With a plethora of reliable randomized controlled studies and real-world evidence accessible in the cardiology field, cardiovascular professionals are equipped to provide optimal care to their patients.
The three-day conference will host a wide range of sessions such as case-sharing, treatment methodologies, and updates on specific areas including left main, bifurcation, chronic total occlusion, long and small vessels, calcified lesions, STEMI, structural, and peripheral intervention. A DCB pre-congress session will kick off the event. The main goal of the conference is to integrate the most current scientific evidence into daily practices.
The conference will also have a panel of experts who will analyze the top cases submitted and share their approaches to treatment based on their own clinical practices. Additional highlights of the event will feature various symposiums and teaching sessions with other interventional societies, as well as a dedicated symposium focusing on the use of intravascular imaging and its role in physiological assessments. It is a not-to-be-missed event for all cardiology professionals.
We look forward to seeing you at MYLIVE 2026!

On behalf of the National Heart Association of Malaysia, I welcome all of you to the 22nd Malaysian Cardiovascular Interventional Symposium (MYLIVE 2026), Malaysia’s largest interventional cardiology conference – this year’s theme – “Shaping Interventional Excellence”.
In the last 12 months, interventional cardiology has continued to progress at a breathless pace – new technologies and new techniques – greater integration between the cardiologists, their tools and their machines. The era of “AI-powered (something)” is now emerging in the rapidly evolving field of interventional cardiology.
MYLIVE 2026 recognizes this, and hence the theme of shaping interventional excellence is worthy of this year’s meeting. Only clinical excellence can provide the foundation to shape education and undertake research. Interventional cardiologists in Malaysia and many of their institutions have directly contributed to many of these emerging technologies, generating valuable clinical data for regulators, scientists and academics.
The educational value of MYLIVE 2026 goes beyond what the international and local Faculty have to share with our delegates. As with all editions of MYLIVE, active participation from the delegates is encouraged, from submitting of interesting cases to interaction during and after the main symposia – there will be many opportunities for two-way exchange of knowledge.
We envisage MYLIVE 2026 to be the main hub of these activities in Malaysia and for South East Asia as we recognize that we need all stakeholders in the interventional cardiology space, as well as the entire multidisciplinary teams to advance this ecosystem – from clinicians, nurses, physiologists, allied health professionals; to scientists, IT professionals, engineers, and administrators – two and a half days of great interaction and networking, a hallmark of all our previous events.
This year’s MYLIVE will see us return to the National Heart Institute (Institut Jantung Negara, IJN), Kuala Lumpur, as the Live Transmission Site. With over 20 Live transmission cases, we have assembled a world class Faculty in the field of Interventional Cardiology, including over 50 experts from our ASEAN region and beyond.
MYLIVE 2026 stands as a unifying platform to share these advancements openly and meaningfully. Through regional and global collaboration, we aim shape interventional excellence, so we can improve both clinical care and outcomes.
I extend my heartfelt thanks to the Interventional Cardiovascular Society of Malaysia (ICSM), Organising Chairman Dr Kamaraj Selvaraj, Scientific Chairman Dr Kumara Gurupparan Ganesan, and the dedicated team at IJN for bringing us this impactful event.
See you at MYLIVE 2026!

Dear Colleagues and Friends,
It is my great pleasure to welcome you to MYLIVE 2026, the Malaysian Cardiovascular Interventional Symposium.
Over the years, MYLIVE has grown into a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange, innovation, and collaboration in cardiovascular intervention. As we gather once again, we reaffirm our shared commitment to advancing patient care through clinical excellence, cutting-edge technology, and meaningful professional dialogue.
The field of cardiovascular intervention continues to evolve rapidly, driven by technological breakthroughs, refined techniques, and evidence-based practice. MYLIVE 2026 is designed to reflect this momentum — bringing together leading local and international experts to share insights, discuss real-world cases, and explore the future direction of interventional cardiology.
This year’s programme will feature live case transmissions, state-of-the-art lectures, interactive discussions, and multidisciplinary perspectives that bridge innovation with practical application. Our goal is not only to showcase advancements, but to foster critical thinking, inspire new ideas, and strengthen collaboration across institutions and specialties.
We believe that progress in cardiovascular care is achieved when knowledge is shared openly and when experience meets innovation. MYLIVE continues to serve as a platform where seasoned practitioners, emerging specialists, and industry partners come together to shape the next chapter of interventional cardiology in Malaysia and beyond.
On behalf of the organising committee, I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to our faculty, partners, sponsors, and delegates for your continued support and participation. Your presence and contribution are what make MYLIVE a meaningful and impactful scientific meeting.
I look forward to welcoming you personally to MYLIVE 2026 and to an inspiring, engaging, and forward-looking symposium.
Thank you.
